De winter is nu ondertussen drie weken ver. Dat betekent een beetje frisser (17 graden op een slechte dag), wat vroeger donker (tegen een uur of vijf), en de occasionele winteractiviteit.

When it rains, it pours :)
You know, sometimes Belgium doesn’t seem that far away at all, especially when you look outside and its rainy and gray…
Luckily that doesn’t happen too often in Sydney haha! But when it does, it can look something like this, less than 2 km of where we live.
Only a week later I received similar pictures from my best friend in Belgium, 16.000 kms from here, this is the street where we used to live.
What is black and white and “red” all over?*
We like parties and we like dressing up…Â so we loooooove dress up parties!
Can you guess who/what we are?
In keeping with the theme ‘black & white and red all over’, I used a pair of white tights which I attacked with black and red waterproof markers.
Although I was almost rendered unconscious by the alcohol fumes from said markers, I nevertheless persisted and finished the job in high spirits 😉
Bram, already in character, defied the theme and decided to dress up a bit differently. (Hint: the hostess was also celebrating Kermit’s 54th birthday and a big fan of the muppets…)
*Answer: a newspaper, apparently this is a popular aussie children’s joke…
